Seasons for Growth is a loss and grief education programme provided to children and young people between the ages of 6-18. The core element of the programme is the social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people who have experienced significant loss due to the death or family breakdown.

The Seasons for Growth programme draws upon extensive research in developing a sound educative response to change, loss and grief. Seasons for Growth is an educational programme involving peer support, it does not provide counselling or therapy. The programme is intended to be delivered to children and young people by 2 members of school staff  who have trained as Seasons companions.
