At home, away from home, in Kinship Care or in out-of-area authority placements

The Highland Council Psychological Service maintains a link with looked after children at home, away from home, in kinship care or in out-of-area authority placements. Educational Psychologists work alongside the Lead Professional Social Worker through the Highland Practice Model. Education and care needs of care experienced young people are best met in a holistic way, whilst also keeping in touch with local community partners. Please see the service policy here:
